As a Chopra-certified embodiment facilitator and seasoned writer, I bring over 15 years of experience exploring the intersections of Black culture, social issues, health, spirituality, and wellness.

My work spans topics like the Black maternal health crisis, the resurgence of tarot and astrology in Black and brown communities, and the vital role of Black death doulas in reimagining end-of-life care.

I’m passionate about sharing knowledge and inspiring others through writing, blending cultural insight with a commitment to holistic wellness and spirituality. My storytelling serves as an extension of my mission as a holistic wellness coach and Ayurvedic educator, empowering readers to reclaim their wholeness, tap into their inner wisdom, and resist the commodification and colonization of wellness practices. I aim to illuminate the disparities within the wellness industry, advocating for equity and accessibility to ensure all communities can thrive in their healing journeys.

In my previous role as Deputy Director of Enterprise at Refinery29 Unbothered, I championed health, wellness, and spirituality content for a diverse audience. I also co-hosted Unbothered’s award-winning Go Off, Sis! podcast and currently host my own wellness podcast, In Case Nobody Told You.

My articles have been featured in Refinery29’s Unbothered, VIBE, Bustle, Elev8, and more. Below, you’ll find a curated selection of my published work.
